Mounjaro levels over an average week
This graph shows, on average, how levels of MJ rise and fall in your body over the period of a week.
If taken weekly, just prior to taking your MJ dose, around 50% will be left in your system (half life). Within around 12 hours of taking MJ this rises to around 75% and finally reaches 100% strength at 24 hours. This then reduces over the coming days until the next dose is taken. Injection site may vary the speed at which MJ reaches its peak.

Mounjaro background increases in first month of use
This graph shows how background levels of MJ rise in your body over the period of 5 weeks, including an increase in dose to 5mg
With a half life, MJ builds a background level in our systems. A new weekly dose contributes to this background, raising levels. By around weeks 3/4 this levels off (3.5mg in this example). This works as a stepping stone to the next dose up (see note)

Mounjaro levels when dose is increased every 4 weeks
This graph shows how background levels of MJ rise in your body over the period of 24 weeks, if titrating up every 4 weeks. It is important to note; titration schedules should be discussed with your provider.
As explained in the above graph, MJ builds a background dose. You may for example, be taking a 5mg dose but that will build to around 7mg in your body. This then makes moving to the next dose easier and explains why it is important not to rush up the doses too soon. Here, I am showing the max level reached in the first week of a dose increase and then the amount just prior to moving up.

Splitting a weekly injection in two half doses, twice per week
This graph shows the peaks and troughs of taking a 5mg dose once per week, compared to splitting that dose into 2 x 2.5mg doses, equally split 3.5 days apart.
Splitting the dose creates a lower peak but a higher trough. This may even out the levels over the week and some anecdotal evidence from social media suggests helps more even suppression and fewer side effects.
It is extremely important to note that this is not medical guidelines and the official guidance suggest injections should be weekly

Splitting a weekly injection in two half doses, twice per week - over several weeks
Read notes in graph above on splitting and official guidelines.
This graph shows the comparison of taking weekly vs split doses over several weeks. Split doses were taken every Thurs PM and Mon AM
It is extremely important to note that this is not medical guidelines and the official guidance suggest injections should be weekly

Taking a break for a week
This graph shows what happens when someone who has been taking weekly 5mg doses for several weeks, skips a dose for one week. It show how long it can take to re-build a background level.
This may guide you on what is appropriate if you decide to take a break for a holiday. This should be discussed with your provider, especially if there is a medical reason for the break. Taking a break may slow progress and research should be undertaken.

Taking a break for two weeks
Please see comments above for 'Taking a break for a week'. The same applies here but with a more substantial two weeks of skipping doses. This has a more significant effect on background drops.
Discussion with your provider is essential and may result in a change of dose.
